Rest in Peace part 4

The legendary Herbie Flowers has sadly passed away, at 86. He worked on sessions for some of the great and the good in the 1960s and 1970s, most famously with the bassline for Walk on the Wild Side. By all accounts, a lovely bloke too. RIP 

Tito Jackson of The Jackson 5 has died at the age of 70.

Also, JD Souther who penned hits for The Eagles has died at the age of 78. He had a Top 10 solo hit in the late 70's, "You're Only Lonely". RIP to both.

George "Zoot" Money has died at 82. He fronted his own Big Roll Band, but also made several solo records, and worked in telly and film through music and also acting. RIP 

Martin Lee, moustachioed member of 1970s UK hitsters Brotherhood of Man, died at 77 this week. They had 3 #1 singles, and won the 1976 EuroVision Song Contest too. RIP 

Cissy Houston has died at 91. The youngest of 8 children, and the longest-lasting, she is famous for being the mother of Whitney, and the aunt of Dionne Warwick. The real family name was Drinkard, which is unfortunate. She had been battling Alzheimers for years. RIP 

Scottish DJ Jackmaster died of an accidental head injury, at 38. RIP 

American crooner Jack Jones has died at 86. He was a big star but never seemed to get the attention or respect that others of similar quality got. Maybe he will now. RIP 

Grateful Dead co-founder Phil Lesh has died at 84. RIP
