Re: Birthday Cake
Made for a great day, thanks! Actually used a birthday coupon for a free dinner at the buffet, which was terribly nice. Bought a 12 pack and actually got to watch "The Web Of Fear" & "The Enemy Of The World". That in itself was such a gift. Never would have imagined it last year! I'll have to pop over to Doctor Who World soon and give them both a 10 star review! Cheers~misery guts wrote:Sorry, Al, I missed it Hope you had a good time anyway, all things considering
PS --- And an early Happy Birthday to Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (my sister who never visits lol).

Diana Ross turned 70 on Wednesday (the 26th). Neil Sedaka turned 75 back on the 13th.
I realise neither are members, but I've no qualms about trying to widen a franchise in the right cause

Re: Birthday Cake
MG ... another year, another birthday lol. I'll be w/o internet off and on over the course of the week. Been in MS this past month visiting my mother and helping out. Love mowing grass and doing odd jobs. The rent of course also helps and keeping fingers crossed my nephew will be home in August! Mother's getting older and I'll feel so much better when she has him back as he's a strong young man now. Been a wild and crazy adventure, but all in all, best part was getting to see my mother after 20 years.
Anywho, we've (room mate and I) got the uhaul and are heading back to CO today. Trying a new town in Colorado Springs, so hoping it'll be good to us. Truly sad about leaving, but that's where me heart is and red tape burdens still have us tied there. So I may miss your big day, but will keep you in mind and as always best wishes. Will check in from time to time as Motel 6's have Wi-Fi. Be good to yourself and enjoy those 30's while you can! CHEERS~

Oh sod, I did it again I'm more upset to see I did the same thing last year too. I saw the "coming this week" thing the other day, thought I couldn't miss it. I posted some stuff yesterday as well. My bad
Anyway, I hope you had a good time, all things considered

Re: Birthday Cake
Busy week for big birthdays, with Rod Stewart turning 70 on Saturday, UK X Factor winner Ben Haenow, who turned 30 on Tuesday, and of course Elvis Presley, born 80 years ago today. Perhaps his cake will go to R Kelly instead, being a mere 46.

Re: Birthday Cake
Aparently Doctor Who #1, William Hartnell is also celebrating from the grave today. True shame he can't be around celebrate it. He would be so very proud and likely never lived to imagine what an icon he is!

Many thanks and most appreciated. This one is starting off really well. $'s been so tight I had to drop vandalism from my car insurance and sure enough, it got vandalized yesterday. Hope this is just another brick in the wall and not an omen, so to speak. Cheers~
