From the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, a 2014 hour & a half running through her pop & country hits, with many set & costume changes, a horse, and even a campfire sing-song with folks from the audience. Ended on "Man, I Feel Like A Woman", perhaps to finish on a jollier note than some of her others.

Hurrah, a new series. This featured Phil Mack and Aveleen Rose introducing a whole raft of Ms Twain's videos, chatting about her albums, and odd other facts which weren't exactly novel. What did shine through of course were the less familiar numbers which haven't had the familiarity stamped out of them. Any Man Of Mine and Forever And For Always, to name but two.

The Big Interview w/Dan Rather - Shania Twain
This 2018 chat coincided with his first album for 15 years. She had been suffering with Lyme disease and dysphonia which had put a stop to her singing. Slowly, with help from friends like Michael Buble and Lionel Richie, she improved, to the stage of making her new album. She mentioned divorcing Mutt Lange after his infidelity, and how she was now happily remarried. She was 52 at this point. She enjoyed touring more because she thought she'd never be doing it again. She wanted to write books and do more acting.

Shania Twain's new album Queen Of Me has gone straight to #1 in the UK. It's her first new album in many years.

Country legend with over 25 years of success, but also health battles too. She's coming to Glastonbury this weekend, so a good time to give her her own thread at last. Here are just a handful of her finest moments:

Laura got to crack through this, but I think there were some different inclusions (she re-did Endless Love with Lionel Richie, which must have passed me by).

Behind the Music: Shania Twain
Her name's actually Eileen, her folks died when she was young-ish, and her tenuous Native American heritage isn't as solid as she has sometimes claimed. But marrying Mutt Lange enabled her to stick it to Nashville and get her midriff out for the audience. Faith Hill was the only other musician to speak in her support, her sister Carrie and brother Mark (Mark Twain!) were included too.

Shania Twain is bizarrely roped in to help the two comedians, and challenge them to write and perform a country song. Rob is keener than Romesh, but they manage to perform in a Nashville venue, and it goes pretty well.

Dermot O'Leary has less footage to work with, in order to bash through the same story. There's a handful of lesser-seen clips, but mainly lets Shania tell her own story. She took a long time to feel happy as a performer, and spent a long time getting her life back after lyme's disease. These shows were by way of pushing her appearance at Glastonbury.

The Sunday teatime "legends" slot on the Pyramid stage was somewhat peculiar, as though Shania is undeniably famous and successful and has plenty of material from a near 30-year career, she just hasn't really had that many hits in the UK. I'm sure her fans enjoyed it, if present, but I'm also sure the rest would have taken about 2/3 of the material as new to them. She didn't manage to achieve her hoped-for entrance riding a horse, either.

Glastonbury '24 - Sunday evening
A mish-mash of acts like James, Jordan Rakei and Two Door Cinema Club, who weren't otherwise covered, some like Paloma Faith and Brittany Howard who would get longer coverage elsewhere, and a truncated run of the Shania Twain set seen above, plus a post-performance chat with Jo Whiley, as Shania talked about the experience.
