The Frank Sinatra Timex Hour - Welcome Home, Elvis
The last in a series, as Frank sings a few, lets Sammy Davis Jr sing and do impressions, has Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford around too, not to mention daughter Nancy, oh, and he lets Elvis make his first post-army telly appearance, singing Stuck On You, not to mention the famous medley with Frank.

Sinatra - Concert for the Americas
With the Buddy Rich Orchestra in the Dominican Republic, in 1982. Buddy himself got a chance to showcase his skills, but it was otherwise all Frank. He seemed in upbeat form, credited arrangements of Don Costa and Nelson Riddle, and doled out the hits with the odd surprise along the way.

Arena - My Way
Paul Anka was central to this 1979 prog, explaining how his words were meant to be for Frank. He wasn't the first to put English words to the French tune, but he clearly was the most successful. Some others like Dorothy Squires talked about what they felt the song meant for them, and there was much footage of Sid Vicious' version too.
Kennedy, Sinatra and the Mafia
This new doc marked the 60th anniversary of the death of JFK by looking at what brought the two men together, and why it went so sour after his 1960 election. Did the mafia kill him? Many biographers and historians had their say.

Re: Frank Sinatra
Soul Music - theme from "New York, New York"
Co-writer John Kander explained how Robert de Niro nixed the first version that he and Fred Ebb wrote, and that their 2nd take was somewhat buoyed by their ire at this rejection. Liza Minnelli's version helped popularise the song (since the film was a flop), and Frank Sinatra's version changed a few words to suit his take on it. He did a further version with Tony Bennett, a few years before his death, which rather cheapened the memory as his voice was no longer at its best. Then there was a look at how a team of choristers were booked to appear in New York shortly after 9/11, and they did a version which went down well with the crowd.
