She makes for an easy subject on cheap series like this, where biographer Lucy O'Brien could do much of the heavy lifting of the story, whilst choreographers and dancers had admiration to share, whilst early managers and promoters were also fairly positive too.

Her younger gay brother, who shared her youthful adventures in dance and music, became her tour dresser, and later stage designer, and interior designer, but who eventually found himself edged out of the picture, especially after her marriage to director Guy Ritchie. Whenever he tried to offer constructive criticism, she accused him of having a drug problem. Trying rehab to please her, doctors found he didn't have a drug problem, more a control freak sister problem.
A good read, if a bit nerdy about facts & figures at times.
