What Ever Happened to Pink Floyd? The Strange Case of Gilmour & Waters
A somewhat unofficial effort from 2010, re-telling the familiar story, from the Animals album through to the Live 8 reunion gig. The disintegration of the band, and what happened when Waters left for solo ventures. A few faces were familiar, such as biographer Mark Blake, and there was some archive of Mason, Wright, Waters and Gilmour too.

The Stream - Roger Waters
Anelise Borges talked via tech to Roger in New York, partly about his "This is Not a Drill" tour, his recent re-take on Dark Side of the Moon, his mother's advice to him to think about things more, and the death of his father (80 years ago last month), and also plenty of the current genocide in Gaza, and how Roger was drawn to the Palestinian support in 2006.

Have You Got It Yet? The Story of Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd
A fairly comprehensive run-through of a somewhat sad story, in which a prodigious young man becomes a pale shadow of his past, and his friends and band-mates carry on to the big time. Storm Thorgerson seems to have done a lot of the interviews, which perhaps covers the amiable presence of the three surviving members of PF, plus many of the folks who otherwise wouldn't be included in the general story of the band (former girlfriends and school friends of Syd, for example). It's worth reiterating that Roger Waters and David Gilmour helped out with some of Syd's solo material, so however mercenary they seemed in cutting him out of the band, they still cared for him as a friend and artist. In that regard, it was intriguing to hear more of his later life, as his infamous reappearance at Abbey Road in 1975 seems almost to be seen as a final bow usually.
In more recent news, David Gilmour has a new solo album coming out in the Autumn.

Re: Pink Floyd
Later w/Jools Holland - David Gilmour
He rocked up to sing The Piper's Call and Between Two Points (which featured his daughter Romany, and was a rare cover version from the Montgolfier Brothers). He claimed to be slowing down, to excuse it being 9 since his previous album, though he also suggested the next one will come quicker. The album title cam from a 2006 track which included Rick Wright. He recently played some shows at the Circus Maximus, in Rome.
