What Concerts Have You Attended?

Okay, my list is shamefully short lol. I've seen Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Rick Springfield, Janet Jackson, New Kids On The Block (I was dragged to that one by force ) , Moby, Front 242, Xymox and lastly Stevie Nicks whom I was lucky enough to meet backstage.

Now here's some old school artists that some of you might remember.

And getting to meet Stevie, that is super-awesome! I have to ask: is Stevie as nice and gracious in person as she appears to be?

I went to an Eddie Money show when I was in school. I think the 8th or 9th grade. I don't remember which grade but I know I was pretty young. My grandmother won the tickets off the radio for me and my best friend. He put on a pretty great show. He did all of his hits and some new numbers and put on quite an energetic show.

Stevie is absolutely amazing! I didn't get to say a whole lot. I was there with four or five other disc jockeys and we were all just in awe. We let her do most of the talking lol. I was very surprised as to how short she is. I'm 5"4 and thought I was short. She's 5"1. We were all pretty sloshed at the time, but remember she went on for a while about her high heels making her look taller. She admitted that she was quite insecure performing with taller beebs such as Mick Jagger and Lindsey Buckingham. She is larger than life though and made for one of the best nights of my life.

Oingo Boingo (Danny Elfman who sang the voice of Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas was their lead singer), The Police, The Go Gos, The English Beat, The Specials, Black Flag (but couldn't get in), The Moody Blues, Kenny Rankin, stuff I can't remember. Maybe the Psychodelic Furs but i am not sure, lol. I can't remember everything, I worked in a place with music for a bit so I can't remember all the local bands. I know for sure I saw, Robert Harzard and the Heroes, The A's and The Hooters shows like that. I also won tickets to see a big show with Elvis Costello and a bunch of other bands, from MTV and couldn't get a ride cause none of my friends liked that "punk" stuff. lol

Hot damn! Percy Sledge! One song, but it's a classic...

i think my very first concert was wheni won free tickets from a riado station as a teenager..i had to call in and sing over the air a pcof the last some thy played by peter frampton..concert featured frampton..fog hat and j.geils. umm idont rem the order of the others so ill just name them. i've seen heart, fleetwod mac, ummmm oh yea the roling stones bigger bang..also featured metalica eww..im not a fan of theirs. but i do love the stones..lets see ..sheesh i AM old i cant even rem them all right now lol
i know ther is more but its 2 am her now and my brain is falling asleep.

Hey, old is good, too! The Stones are one of the all-time greats. That must be a great spectacle, and so many great songs.
