Senead warns Miley.....

Tragic and sudden news about Sinead O'Connor   Hopefully, she's found peace now. RIP

Sinead's cause of death has been disseminated, and it was "natural causes". Better news is the announcement of a tribute concert in the US in a few months, a joint effort to also commemorate the death of Shane McGowan too.

Nothing Compares
The all-new documentary on Sinead which managed to premiere just after she died. Her childhood was tricky, and life in London was an improvement. Her recording career was bubbling up nicely until that video sent her into orbit. At which point she realised she could kick back a bit, and they played the full SNL bit rather than just the final picture-ripping bit. Invited to a subsequent live date by Bob Dylan, and supported by Kris Kristofferson, the crowds were really vituperative. She battled on to the end. Peaches, Chuck D, Kathleen Hanna and Skin were among those praising her.

In other news, Miley Cyrus was another of the many Grammy winners at the weekend...
