This is the second Top 40 hit for Lonnie Donegan & his Skiffle Group. Rock Island Line made a debut on 3/31/56 and peaked at #8. He was known as Englnd's "King of Skiffle" and was a member of 'Chris Barber's Jazz Band' in 1954. He died of a heart attack on 11/3/02 (age 71).

This is also the second Top 40 hit for Tex Ritter. On 7/7/56 he made his first debut with The Wayward Wind which peaked at #28. He starred in several western movies and was the father of actor John Ritter, who died on 9/11/03 (age 54). Tex Ritter, born Maurice Ritter died of a heart attack on 1/2/74 (age 68).
