Starting off the new year are The Michael Stanley Band.

I'm not usually one for remakes but I have to say that Hall & Oates' version of "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" is just as good, if not better, than the original. A lot of artists remade this song but none of them did as fine a job as H&O. Then again, maybe I'm a little biased towards them because I've always liked them.

Few remakes can hold a candle to the originals, IMO, but this one definitely does. Madonna's remake of "Fever" and Gloria Estefan's remake of "Turn the Beat Around" are two that come to mind as being top-notch as well.

Susan Anton?('Killing time') OMG wasn't she like a model? I didn't know she had a record!

If that's the same Susan Anton I'm thinking of she was a model and Dudley Moore's wife. I didn't know she had a record out either.

Now, I am totally unfamilar with the model lol. I've no idea if she is one in the same person. She was backing for Fred Knoblock (what kind of name is Knoblock?) in this song making her a one hitter in the Top 40. Here's the song on youtube.
