Nicki Minaj's Husband Kenneth Petty Registers as Sex Offender in California ---

As Nicki Minaj's husband Kenneth Petty faces federal charges for failing to register as a sex offender in California, the 41-year-old is now entered into the California Megan's Law database.
Petty can now be found in the database that tracks sex offenders in the state, and likely registered within the past week, according to TMZ who first reported the news and confirmed by Billboard.
According to the grand jury indictment, Petty, who was convicted of attempted rape in the first degree in 1995 in New York, was charged Feb. 25 with failure to register as a sex offender, a requirement under the 2006 Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA). TMZ reported that he was arrested at a traffic stop in Beverly Hills in November, when police discovered he was not registered as a sex offender in California.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office announced on Friday (Mar. 6) that it was dropping charges against Petty, but if he is convicted of the same felony charge, he faces up to 10 years in prison -- the statutory maximum.

Anokye was unanimously convicted of 21 rapes, five counts of false imprisonment, two counts of assault by penetration and two of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The offences were committed between February 2015 and March 2017.

It's a wonder he had any time to do any rapping...

Mickey Madden of Maroon 5 has been arrested for alleged domestic violence, the Los Angeles Police Department confirms to Billboard. Law enforcement did not identify the victim.

The bassist, who is not married, was arrested on June 27. The LAPD provided the charge as "273.5(a)," which, according to the California penal code, is "any person who willfully inflicts corporal injury resulting in a traumatic condition upon a victim." The charge is a felony, and if convicted, Madden could face a sentence of two to four years in prison, up to one year in a county jail, a fine of up to $6,000, or both a fine and imprisonment.

Per online court records, Madden posted a $50,000 bond the same day, and was released. His court date is scheduled for Sept. 29.

He's taken a "leave of absence" from the band while he gets himself sorted out.

Apparently, (in a developing story) rapper Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion in a dispute. No word of injuries yet. Naturally, he was released on a $35,000 bond.

Plaintiffs Manuel Alarcon, Peter Caliendo and Pauline Caliendo allege that in the September argument over parking at Smith Point Beach on Long Island, Carolina lobbed obscenities and violent threats at them and their families. In doing so, the suit claims, she assaulted and battered them by potentially exposing them to coronavirus through "copious spraying of spittle."

So apparently country singer Morgan Wallen has had his entire career stripped over some nonsense. He got drunk (as many of us have) and said something that was offensive. Yes, he used to N word. As a result radio stations have stopped airing his music, including Iheartradio. Never mind that the N word is painted all over most rap songs. I sure would love to go back in time to the 80's when we had a phrase. Sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me. I don't care for the N word, but this is petty. I will never buy rap music that used the N word solely because as a white male I'm not allowed to recite the lyrics without being deemed a racist. Remember the 2003 song by Jennifer Lopez feat. Jadakiss, 'Jenny From The Block'? They used the N word and no one said a word. People have become soft. People need to go watch some old sitcoms called "The Jeffersons" and "All In The Family". Of course good light hearted shows like that would be banned in this sickening era. Today, people are afraid to use the N word because they may be called the R word in return. I don't like the word, nor do I use it. I certainly don't spend money on music that uses the word. At the end of the day, this is just plain stupid. Some country singer uses the N word while drunk. He didn't say it in a racist way and loses his entire career over it. We've sure come a long way since the 80's, sarcastically speaking. It should be interesting to see next week's chart as he has about 10 songs in the countdown. This will be a repeat of The Dixie Chicks taking a 'Landslide' after they said something controversial about a bad president. Was Morgan Wallen wrong? Probably. Am I offended or deem him a racist? No! Does he deserve to lose his career? Hell no! People need to grow a pair and focus on more important issues. This is embarrassing. Imagine if a rapper used the term honkey or cracker in a rap song. Would they lose their career? No! It's always justified when they say something. Just stupid all around.

Morgan has made a video apology talking about it as an incident in Hour 72 of a 72 hour party. There seems to be a lot of troubled incidence this week, whether briefly and modern-ly, or prolongedly and past-ly.

She gave a further interview to claim she effectively suffered PTSD from her time with him. He, however, has claimed there is no truth to it.

In the lawsuit, filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the woman alleges that Ms Minaj offered her $500,000 (£360,000) via an intermediary in return for recanting her accusations against Petty.

The lawsuit claims that, shortly after Petty's arrest in 2020, the intermediary gave the rapper the woman's number. Ms Minaj is alleged to have called her and offered to fly her and her family to Los Angeles if she could "help" her.

The offer was declined, the lawsuit says.
