They're no longer a functioning band, but that wouldn't stop the Eagles:

You can check out any time you like, and you can sue their asses off too
In a complaint filed late Monday, the Eagles said owners of the 11-room Todos Santos hotel in Baja California Sur "actively encourage" guests to believe the hotel is associated with the band, in order to sell t-shirts and other merchandise, and make guests feel welcome.
This allegedly included piping "Hotel California" and other Eagles songs through the hotel sound system, and selling t-shirts in that refer to the hotel as "legendary," resulting in apparent confusion among many guests who posted online reviews.

Legends of the 1970s, part of that SoCal Laurel Canyon scene, the twin leadership of Glenn Frey and Don Henley, and later the guitar heroism of Steve Walsh. Took a 14 year hiatus and then carried on together, until Frey died in 2012. His son Deacon fills in sometimes these days. Here's a few of their gems:

Take It Easy (live)

Lyin' Eyes (live)

I Can't Tell You Why

Life in the Fast Lane (live)

Hotel California

History of the Eagles - Parts 1 & 2
All the major band members were here, along with guys like Kenny Rogers and Jackson Browne, who helped them along the way (no Linda Ronstadt, though). Part 1 covered their main period up to their 1980 split, and then part 2 covered their solo efforts and 1994 reunion. Hugely informative to me, and with a clean-cut candour at times (Glenn Frey being something of a hard nut). It seems neat that Tim Schmit, who seemed to join the original line-up too late in the game, has remained a key part of the team ever since. Joe Walsh, who I like more every time I see him on shows like this, has the nous to know not to rock the boat, and no need to. Charting the rise & fall of Don Henley's facial hair was an amusing sideline to the story, too.

In Concert: The Eagles
Half-hour from 1973, so rather short of familiar material, though they did end on 'Take It EasySmile

Heyday TV: The World's Greatest Albums - Eagles: Desperado
Another cheapo effort held together by biographers and journalists, although the choice of LP seemed a bit of a stretch even as they were talking about it. Maybe there's a reason for that.

The Eagles: In Performance

Just 3 useful talking heads, but the tale told didn't need any more. How they solidified the sounds of LA, changed their line-up, had a mammoth hiatus, but eventually reformed, and even more eventually knocked out a new album. Their live shows typify their musical proficiency.

Discovering: The Eagles
Glad to see this series return. The band members all came from outside the West Coast, and came together in Los Angeles with help from Linda Ronstadt. They developed their sound, had line-up changes, greater success, and finally a long 14-year hiatus. Inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

Needle Time: Timothy B Schmidt
Same channel, different show. Schmidt is clearly a nice bloke, but not exactly as ebullient, as, say, Joe Walsh. He did offer ideas to the Eagles, which were usually rejected. Though he grew up in a Trailer Park, it didn't seem to have the connotations it now does. They tried to reform in 1990, but it didn't come off. He couldn't get why the Stones could keep going despite antipathy. The vibe was better when they did reunite. With his new record, he feels he's far from finished.

The Friday Night Rock Show - 21/4/17
Timothy B Schmidt talked to Nicky Horne about his new solo LP, Leap of Faith, and his time in the Eagles, and how life has been since Glenn Frey died. He sang a couple of songs, My Hat and Red Dirt Road, too.

Brian Johnson's A Life on the Road: Joe Walsh
Like Brian, he was born in 1947. They chatted in Los Angeles, mostly in the back of a limo, but they also went to the Whisky a Go Go, and Amoeba Records. His mother had been a concert pianist. He was in a three-piece, the James Gang, and impressed Pete Townshend. He attended Kent State University at the time of the infamous shootings. He did well in a solo career, and was then invited to join the Eagles. He spent some of the 1980s in alcohol and cocaine issues. But he cleaned up, and is still on the road with the Eagles, who have Glenn Frey's son filling his late father's place. A likeable guy.

Rock N Roll Road-Trip w/Sammy Hagar - Vegas Rocks!
Sammy chats to unpromising comedian Carrot Top, then Don Felder, of the Eagles, and a couple of chaps from Styx, with whom Felder appears in some kind of hybrid Eagles/Styx show. Don discusses working on Hotel California, and he and Sammy then sing a version of it, to Sammy's delight.

Austin City Limits: Don Henley
In 2015, Don had his first new solo album in over a decade, which had a country tinge to it. So he was able to bring out guests like Jamey Johnson, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride and two of the then-Dixie Chicks. He made sure to do The Boys of Summer though.

Mixtape - Don Felder
The Eagles' guitarist talks about seeing Elvis on Ed Sullivan when he was 10. His first album was a BB King one. He was influenced by Chet Atkins. He taught guitar to Tom Petty. Gainesville was a big scene, as Stephen Stills and Bernie Leadon were there too. He moved to New York where he made his first album, then did sessions in LA. He started songwriting in the Eagles, and co-wrote Hotel California. He worked with Barry Gibb on an album he did with Diana Ross. He compares Alicia Keys to Aretha Franklin.

Eagles - Live From The Forum - MMXVIII
A lengthy show from LA, with Deacon Frey and also Vince Gill singing and playing along. Besides the many hits from their career, they also threw in Life's Been Good and Boys of Summer. Some pleasant surprises.

Focus On: The Eagles
A reasonably predictable run-through, with the odd surprise inclusion.
